Scobleizer – Microsoft Geek Blogger » It’s interesting what happens when you clean your blogroll
Robert Scoble makes a good point in “It’s interesting what happens when you clean your blogroll.” I’ve been asking people to start blogging what they used to send me by email, and at the same time, I agree, I use digg to get most of my news, hours ahead of friends who email the same or related story from sources like CNN or the NY Times. I’m continually culling my own blogroll to the quality sites with the best breadth on news in general and sites with the best depth on specific subjects of interest.
Now, what is the best way to encourage people to resist the temptation to forward stale CNN-a-tized articles? Much of what I receive is of little quality. It would be better if email were used to correspond.
