In Ruby Book Sales Surpass Python over on O’Reilly Radar, Tim O’Reilly asks, “But as you can see, we’re on the fence about whether or not Python has an answer to RoR (and we’re not even asking the question about Perl!) What do you think? Will Python hackers come up with something as good or better?”
I think that ActiveGrid might have the answer. It remains to be seen. With Rails giving Ruby as much exposure as it has, it would not be surprising to see Ruby play a dominant role in web development.
